Who Am I?
Thank You for taking the time to learn more about us. Or I guess I should say just me in this case. So who I am I? Well, I am Scott McCullough current live in North Eastern Oklahoma. I am original from Northern Pennsylvania and move to Oklahoma at the beginning of High School. After High School, I married my High School sweetheart and we bought a house West of Tulsa, Oklahoma. After purchasing our home with a shop I might add this fired my woodworking passion off again from Middle high school shop class back in Pennslyvania. It started with use needing a coffee table for our living room as well as end tables. I discovered Ana White’s website and found the rustic coffee table that I’m sure just about everyone has seen before.
After building our coffee table, next was on to the dining room table. Which I learned a lot with it! Then friends started to see what was going and wanted their own custom pieces for their own homes. At this point, woodworking has completely taken over most of thoughts on projects to do and ways to accomplish different things. In my current job, I’m a welder and be sure to follow me on social because soon there will be wood and metal furniture projects. I really can’t wait to tackle these projects brewing in my head.
What Do I Do?
Currently at Inside The Kerf I make mostly furniture projects that are more on the rustic/farmhouse style. I really like modern furniture but it would never go with our style of home. Most projects I gather ideas from either Instagram and Pinterest and put my own twist on them to fit my style, fit form and function. I normally enjoy making larger projects for some reason I really don’t have an answer to why.
